JOOLA Anna Bright Scorpeus 3S 14mm Pickleball Paddle

The JOOLA Anna Bright Scorpeus 14mm 3S Pickleball Paddle was designed for Anna to complement her powerful and fast game. It thrives in the hands of players looking for a standard pickleball paddle. The 3S is similar to the Gen 3 but features a revised Propulsion Core and a new UPA-A approval (not for USA Pickleball sanctioned events). The slightly revised Propulsion Core still features a foam edge with a honeycomb core in the middle that can move separately to trample behind the ball for impressive power. However, in this new version, the power has been dampened slightly for a softer feel at slower swing speeds and a reduced risk of dinks, without sacrificing the plowing properties, vibration dampening, and extended sweet spot that we love about this core.

Even with the slightly weakened core, the JOOLA Anna Bright Scorpeus 14mm 3S Pickleball Paddle really packs some popping power. To harness this power, we use the heavily textured Charged Carbon face. This rigid carbon face offers a crisp feel and increases dwell time, allowing it to grip the ball and add spin to keep our powerful slams, resets and third shot drops inside the lines. The shorter 13.3cm handle also contributes to this control element, keeping the hand close to the sweet spot and promoting quick reloads during hand-to-hand combat.
